H.M. McFarling, III, MD, FACOG
H.M. McFarling, III, is President of Atlanta Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates and has been with the practice since 1984. Dr. McFarling trained at Emory University and is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. McFarling is Chairman of the Board at Piedmont Hospital Atlanta, serves on the Board of Directors of Piedmont Healthcare, Inc., and is the Vice President of Atlanta Women's Healthcare Specialists, LLC. Dr. McFarling is married with three daughters.

Deborah S. Lee, MD, FACOG
Deborah S. Lee joined Atlanta OBGYN in 1989. She received her degree in Biochemistry from the University of Georgia and her medical degree from Emory University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She completed her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Emory and Emory Affiliate Hospitals. Dr. Lee participated in research during her internship and residency focusing on gestational age and weight assessment through Ultrasound. Dr. Lee is married with two children.

Debra E. Brand, MD, FACOG
Debra Brand received her BA degree in Chemistry from Emory University and her medical degree from the University of Miami (Florida) School of Medicine. She completed her internship at the University of Miami and her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Miami and Emory University. Following her residency, Dr. Brand served as Assistant Professor in the School of Medicine at Emory before joining Atlanta OBGYN in August 1990. Dr. Brand is married with two daughters.

Jacqui Fisch, MD, FACOG
Jacqui Fisch joined Atlanta Obstetrics and Gynecology Associates in 1998 following completion of her fellowship in pelvic imaging and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Emory University. She received her degree in medicine and surgery from the University of Cape Town Medical School in Cape Town, South Africa. She completed an internship in general and trauma surgery, obstetrics and gynecology and internal medicine at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa prior to joining Emory. In addition to her Obstetrical and Gynecologic work Dr. Fisch is trained and works in noninvasive Aesthetics. She is an avid outdoorsman and loves hiking, horse riding and wake boarding. Her other passion is to travel and see the world with her family. Dr Fisch is currently setting up a nonprofit organization in Tanzania that will promote and support education. She is married with two children.

Mimi Vanoyan, MD, FACOG
Mimi Vanoyan completed her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from the University of California, Davis Campus. She received her medical degree and completed her internship and residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. She served as Chief Resident of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Medicine at Mount Sinai from 1994-1995. Dr. Vanoyan came to the Atlanta area in 1999 and joined Atlanta OBGYN in April 2002. Dr. Vanoyan is married with two children.

Peter J. Barratt, MD, FACOG
Peter J. Barratt joined Atlanta Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates in July 2005. Dr. Barratt has been in practice in Atlanta since 1986. He studied and trained at the University of Cincinnati and Wright State University. Dr. Barratt served as President of Prime Time Obstetrics and Gynecology for 16 years prior to joining Atlanta Obstetrics and Gynecology Associates. He has served on the Boards of West Paces Medical Center and the Medical Association of Atlanta, and Trinity Early Learning Center. He currently serves as Chairman of the Women's Service Care Evaluation Committee at Piedmont Hospital. Dr. Barratt is married with one daughter.

Jayasri Bukkapatnam, MD
Dr. Bukkapatnam is a graduate of Duke University in Durham, N.C., where she received a B.S. in biology. After receiving her medical degree from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Orlando Health/Winnie Palmer Hospital. She was named Assistant Director of Medical Education OB-GYN at the Winnie Palmer Hospital in Orlando in 2010 where she was responsible for staffing inpatient labor and delivery, gynecology and triage, as well as the outpatient gynecology clinic. While there, Dr. Bukkapatnam also taught and managed residents and medical students. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She joined Atlanta Obstetrics and Gynecology in April of 2015. In her spare time, Dr. Bukkapatnam enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors as well as catching up on the latest cooking blogs.

Sharon Rubin, MD
Dr. Rubin is an Atlanta native who joined Atlanta Obstetrics and Gynecology during the summer of 2016. After completing her undergraduate and medical school education at the University of Virginia, she completed her residency at University of Texas Southwestern / Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas. She is a Junior Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. In Texas she served on the Graduate Medical Education Committee as well as serving as the Vice President of the Residency Advocacy Council. In addition to being a a passionate advocate for the health and well-being of all her patients, Dr. Rubin is interested in general OB/Gyn, contraception, PCOS, and adolescent and college-age women's healthcare. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring Atlanta, barre class, biking, practicing Spanish, and spending time with family.

Judith Cox, RN, CNM
Judith completed her Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing from the Medical College of Georgia in 1983. She received her Masters of Nursing specializing in Nurse-Midwifery in 1985 from Emory University. Judith joined the Grady Nurse-Midwifery Service and worked there from 1985-1990. Judith joined Atlanta Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates in 1990. In January 2000, Judith became Nurse-Midwifery Service Director for Atlanta Obstetrics and Gynecology Associates.

Certified Nurse Practitioners

Mariae Kilroy, RNCNP
Mariae graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Education in 1975 and Masters in Education in 1978. She received her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from the Medical College of Georgia in 1983. She completed her Nurse Practitioner education at Emory Regional Training Center for Nurse Practitioners in 1986 and was certified by NCC in 1987. Mariae joined Atlanta OBGYN in 1995.

Susan Whitlock, RNCNP
Susan graduated from the Medical College of Georgia with a Bachelor in Science in Nursing in 1976. She completed her Nurse Practitioner education at Emory Regional Training Center for Nurse Practitioners in 1992 and was certified by NCC in 1993. Susan joined Atlanta OBGYN in 1995.
