1 in 5 women suffer from heavy periods – that’s 10 million women in the U.S.! The following videos offer a quick look into the lives of other women like you. Hearing their experiences with heavy menstrual bleeding and the NovaSure® procedure may help you to feel less alone and also possibly help you to make the right personal decision about your heavy periods.

Jean Jean's story: A stay-at-home Mom felt the strain of heavy bleeding. “I felt like I was living my life around my cycle,” Jean said. “I have to say, my family did too. Especially my husband.” When she realized her problem period wasn't normal, she did something about her heavy bleeding. “I feel free!” says Jean.
Penny Penny's story: A nurse with heavy menstrual bleeding that got worse as she got older. “My social life was definitely inhibited by how long I could go without using a restroom,” Penny said. After a lifetime of heavy bleeding and embarrassment, Penny decided to make a change.
Javita Jovita's story: A grandmother that started bleeding so heavily in her 30s that she often felt faint. “Hysterectomy was not an option for me. NovaSure replaced that. It was simple and easy and it's done.”
Ladora Ladora's story: A single mother with heavy menstrual bleeding felt the restrictions of heavy bleeding, became anemic, and lost precious time with her kids each month. Hear how NovaSure changed all that! “I have all my energy back,” boasts Ladora.

COVID-19 Alert!

Update: Starting the week of 4/27, we will begin offering a few additional GYN appointments in the afternoons. In May, our mammogram department will open for staggered appointments, and we will then begin to have more GYN appointments available. We will still continue to make every effort to keep our waiting room as empty as possible and allow plenty of time between patients.

To ensure our patients are taken care of, we remain open, just in a limited capacity. However, if you are experiencing flu-like symptoms, or fever with cough or shortness of breath, please call our office to reschedule your appointment at (404) 355-0320. You may also contact our office for any questions.

To minimize the amount of people in the office, please come to your appointments alone. We apologize for any inconvenience, but we are happy to Facetime your loved ones!

For our pregnant patients who are anticipating a visit to the hospital soon, we ask that you limit visitors to just 1 healthy visitor per patient for Labor & Delivery, Antepartum, and Postpartum rooms.  This is to protect you, your baby, and your family/visitor.

We appreciate your understanding.
