Meet Dr. Barratt

Peter J. Barratt, MD, FACOG, is an OB/GYN serving patients in the Atlanta, Georgia, area. He joined the team at Atlanta Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates in July 2005.
Dr. Barratt has been in practice in Atlanta since 1986. He earned his medical degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Ohio and completed his internship and residency and obstetrics and gynecology at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio.

Prior to joining the team at Atlanta Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates, he served as President of Prime Time Obstetrics and Gynecology for 16 years. Dr. Barratt has served on the boards of West Paces Medical Center, the Medical Association of Atlanta, the Trinity Early Learning Center, and the Agape Youth and Family Center. He currently serves on the Leadership Council of Piedmont Hospital, chairs the Physician Performance Evaluation Committee, and is vice-chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

He is a member of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is affiliated with Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.

Dr. Barratt is married with one daughter. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, reading, exercising, and watching baseball.
